Advanced Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Part V - Quality System development and maintenance

During session V of the advanced course the European Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines, participants will be shown how a compliant GDP quality system is developed, improved and maintained.

Pharmaceutical wholesalers of must establish a quality system that sets out responsibilities, processes and risk management principles for their activities. The system should cover the organizational structure, procedures and resources, as well as the activities necessary to ensure that the delivered product maintains its quality and integrity during storage and/or transportation within the legal supply chain.
The quality system must be fully documented and its effectiveness monitored. All activities related to the quality system must be defined and documented.
